Delhi University is one of the most popular and desirable universities in India. Every year thousands of students take admission and start theirs after school carrier from this renowned university. This year Delhi University admissions are delayed due to coronavirus pandemic and there is a slight change in the admission process also.
University portal will open at 5pm on 20 June
The University has announced that the online submissions of forms will start from the 20th of June. The complete process starting from form submission till registration in colleges will be online as it is very difficult to follow social distancing rules while offline registrations.
5 cutoffs will be released as per the latest information but this number is not fully confirmed and can be extended on the basis of availability of seats. It is expected that like every year cutoffs are going to be very high as the complete process is online. It will be easier for outsiders to register themselves and switch between colleges with different cutoffs.
Students who have not received their class 12th certificate yet have to submit their roll number and subjects opted. It will automatically process the result once it is live. The submission of the class 10th mark sheet is necessary along with the form submission.
Entrance exams and sports trials
Although there is no official announcement regarding the entrance exams, it is expected the process is going to be the same as earlier. The entrance exam for Delhi University admission is conducted by National Testing Agency. They are going to release the date very soon on their official website.
As per the University notice, Delhi University admission in sports quota is going to be conducted by verification of certificates only. No Sports trials, group discussions, strength tests are going to happen this year. One more important announcement is regarding Delhi University admission is that there is no reservation quota for the ECA category this year.
